The North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council and CMAP are partnering to sponsor a North Lawndale Community Planning conference.

We will get an overview of the CMAP planning process; the state of the North Lawndale community and learn how to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that the community planning process presents. After that,we will break out into groups to identify issues within various sectors of the community, including housing, transportation, education, infrastructure, job creation, economic development, et cetera.
