On April 21, 2018, North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council (NLCCC) in partnership with CMAP, LISC and a host of community residents, clergy, organizations, businesses, elected officials etc. hosted it’s 3rd Annual Community Planning Conference, inviting the community to contribute more content to the final draft plan. This is a plan the community began working on almost three years ago. The feedback gathered from conference attendees will be incorporated in the final Comprehensive Quality of Life Plan, expected to be published by late summer/early fall of 2018.
